“Best curry house in Wolves”| ninamWolverhampton
We have been coming here for nearly a year now after it was recommended to us, the food and service are always excellent and the prices very reasonable, given the choice we would not go anywhere else.
The numberous friends and family we have taken here all come away saying how fantastic it is

We all had another great evening meal at the Massala club restaurant last weekend.I feel this little gem of an Indian resturant deserves a notable mention.Firstly the restaurant itself has been open for little over ayear now, and was formally the old kingwood public house. The new owners have transformed the place into a delightful eating establishment, with modern decore, furnature, and fittings with a full licence for drinks. To start there menu is very comprehensive,a suggestion is to study a takeaway menu first, as the many dishes listed in the resaurant menu, would take you half the night to digest and what to order. The staff are excellent from a hand shake at the door with a smile that lasts the whole evening, they are very attentative through out the entire time you are there. Foodwise to start, the appetiser popadoms with six dips to choose from, with topups if required. The starters have a choice of around twenty traditinal and nearly twenty fussion dishes for all tastes. The main courses have a conplete plathora of choice galore, ranging from ,Seafood, Barbecued, Chefs specials, Healthy options, Veggie dishes, Combination dishes,Sizzling fussion dishes,Combination curry dishes, Biryanis and traditinal Balti curry dishes, all accopanied with various rices ,nan breads etc, not forgetting the many side dishes..There is a small english section at the end, and children are catered for.A complete guide to Indian cooking all served on nice contemprey plates with immaculate white table clothes in a spotless setting.Drinks wise you are limited to a few draft largers, but cobra goes down a treat, there are how ever a number of alcholic and non alcholic bottled drinks available. There is a seperate wine menu if required or just by the glass, the usual Reds.Whites,Roses, we found a fair choice to choose from. A desert menu later arrives if required for Indian ice creams and other deserts plus many liquire coffees. My favorite dish is chicken or lamb Rezalla with mixed kabab to start, with a recommended mushroom rice. To be honest i feel you would be hard pressed not to find a dish you liked at the Massala club. One note it is adviseable to book on a friday and saturday evening, although they still fit you in even if you dont. We fully recommend this restaurant for fine Indian cooking in Tettenhall wood, and will hopefully be there again soon. Regards.
